Morning: Energizing Activities
Good morning Sunshine!
Your dogs day begins at 8am with tailored exercise and playtime to awaken their senses and boost their happiness.
We take your dog on an invigorating morning run in our enclosed free-run field as they enjoy their morning poop, followed by breakfast!
Late Morning: Enrichment & Rest
Once Breakfast has settled, Social Club takes place at midday.
All dogs participating in Social Club have been assessed and approved by Clinical Animal Behaviourist Nanci Creedon who has 20 years of professional experience supervising dog play.
Dogs who don’t enjoy Social Club have the option to explore the sand arena – filled with scents of wild rabbit and not-so-wild cows. Lots of areas to explore and investigate!
Afternoon Entertainment
Trust us, it’s not all go-go-go!
We encourage relaxation at The Dogchester. After a busy morning, we take 2 hours to allow our guests rest and refresh after their morning activities.
2pm-4pm all of our guests are treated to some screen time – however we have created a selection of options to watch, all based on promoting comfort and relaxation
Evening Activities
Social Club – Round 2, and this time today’s new guests join the club.
Our non-social guests can choose to take a nature walk around our 12 acres. While on a long line we encourage exploration and investigation rather than intense physical exercise.
Quality Bonding Time
Its 6pm, which means its Enrichment Time!
Dinner is served in a variety of ways – Licky Mats, Snuffle Mats, Hidden in Egg Cartons, and more!
For our fussy eaters, we provide cuddles and company to encourage eating.
For our energizer bunnies, its Tricks for Treats as dinner is delivered as training rewards.
And for those who need a little extra care, bonding time can include ear cleaning, light grooming, massage, mani-pedi and more…..
Pre Bed Potter
Pre-Bed we take a quick trip to our gardens to empty our bladders and watch the sunset before being tucked into bed with a treat (if allowed) and a “good boy” or “good girl”, relaxation TV is turned on (on a 60min timer), and it’s time to dream about what tomorrow will bring!
