Training that starts with understanding your dog.
Whether your dog needs to learn a new skill or needs help with big feelings, we will help you find the right route forward.
New skills, or support with big feelings?
A simple way to think about it: does your dog need to learn something new, or do they have a powerful emotional association that is getting in the way?
“I would like my dog to learn a new behaviour.”
Training is about teaching practical skills your dog does not yet know, then helping them use those skills in real life.
- Coming back when called
- Walking nicely on the lead
- Settling calmly at home
- Sitting when visitors arrive
- Focus, manners and impulse control
“My dog has big feelings about something.”
Sometimes the challenge is not a missing skill. It is a strong emotional response that needs to be understood, supported and gradually changed.
- Frustration or rage around other dogs
- Fear of strangers or unfamiliar situations
- Extreme excitement around walks
- Reactivity, anxiety or over-arousal
- Difficulty settling once emotionally heightened
That is completely normal. Tell us what is happening and we will help you decide whether one-to-one training, a residential programme, group classes or another form of support is most appropriate.
Support built around your dog and your life.
One-to-One Training
Personalised practical support for dogs and owners who would benefit from individual guidance, focused coaching and a plan designed around their own goals.
Group Training Classes
Friendly, structured classes that help dogs learn useful skills while owners build confidence, knowledge and consistency in a supportive setting.
Residential Training
An intensive Dogchester stay combining carefully planned training, rest, enrichment and owner support for suitable dogs who need a more immersive programme.
Kind, practical help from someone who sees the whole dog.
Nanci Creedon is a Clinical Animal Behaviourist with more than 20 years’ experience across dog care, behaviour, training and education.
Our work is not about forcing dogs through situations they are struggling with. It is about looking at why a behaviour is happening, creating achievable steps forward and helping both dog and owner feel more capable.
Every dog is an individual. We will always be honest about what is appropriate, what is realistic and which route is likely to give your dog the best chance of success.
